Manx Sail Racer began as a personal project with the idea to help develop a single sailing community on the Isle of Man, and has slowly been growing into the Island’s finest online port of call for both Manx and foreign sailors alike.

The mSr ‘blog‘ is the perfect place to keep up-to-date with the latest comings and going of the Isle of Man Sail Racing scene.
With help from a small but very dedicated group of people, we are able to cover nearly all Manx sailing events, from dingy to cruiser, giving pre-race insights and post-race results and reviews.

It’s becoming quite renowned these days, and often thought of as the ‘home of Dave Kneale photography on the Isle of Man’, the mSr gallery contains hundreds of sailing pictures, and it keeps growing every day. So take a look, see who has been expertly caught on film - it could be, and probably has been, you!
So, thanks once again to Dave Kneale for being mSr’s most prolific photographer. If anyone wants full resolution copies of any of Dave’s photos, just send your request by email to photos@manxsailracer.com, he will be delighted to provide them to you at a reasonable price.
Watch this space though, Manx Sail Racer are planning to up the ante with even more coverage from new photographers, as well as making video coverage of events a much more common thing in the near future.

The single most important entity behind mSr is you, the community we are trying to serve. Our forums provide you with a welcoming, safe and enjoyable arena for open discussion. Beit heated debate about the finer points of sailing, keeping everyone informed of your latest victory, or just some hard buying and selling of your sailing related stuff. It is your very own sailing soapbox so be our guest and get heard!

We would just like to make clear that we very much continue to encourage the use of the Island’s yacht clubs individual sites. They can often contain more information on specific things than we can, and having more places to visit is always better. So please do check them out too!
